Somehow, after dying, I find myself in this weird Halo AU where everyone in the military has Mjolnir armor and the Covenant War has taken an odd turn. I decide to join up with UNSC with the hopes of one day becoming an admiral, only to find myself bundled off to Blood Gulch as a Simulation trouper.
I find myself joining Blue Team along with Caboose right at the start of the series, and now have to navigate the following events, hopefully without dying. I don't seem to have a problem fitting in, but there's still some tension.
Oh well, maybe I can try to save Church.

Or he can be the one to say goodbye, and dedicate himself instead to being present for his child who's had too much put on their young shoulders. We've heard the one about Dr. Leonard Church already. It's a good tragedy, because it was so easily preventable by just, y'know, not fucking doing that, yet inevitable because he would, unfortunately, always fucking do that. Lavernius Tucker's story is looser. He's flexible like that, bow-chicka-bow-wow. So maybe he looks at this choice and says, "baby, get you a man who can do both".

This is a first person AU fic, following Undersider Gwen and Ward Miles, who alternate as Protagonists each arc (Gwen odds, Miles evens). It takes place in the world of Worm, but every named character in Worm has been replaced by a different character from one of the sources in the tags.
I explain a lot about sources in the text, only vague familiarity with Gwen and Miles is recommended, everything else is explained, you don't need to know all the sources to follow this.
