Summary
Kate Marsh is a budding chocolatier just making it out the other end of a quarter-life crisis. After coming to terms with her religious trauma and the resulting falling out with her family, Kate spent most of her early adult years traveling the world and learning the art of making chocolate, a perfect compliment to her obsession with tea that had provided her with so much comfort during her teen years. Now, she wants to settle down and have her own shop, and the sleepy little town of Arcadia Bay, surrounded by the beautiful natural landscape of Oregon, feels like the perfect place to start.
Chloe Price is a scrappy punk princess turned mechanic. After her prestigious hometown college chewed her up and spit her out with a year left to go, Chloe decided to make her own way forward despite the judgement of her peers. Although she could now say that she truly enjoyed her work at the local auto-repair, Arcadia Bay and its people continued to be suffocating in their own way, and with her best friend Max up on the hill at Blackwell, she wished she had something -or someone- more to light up her life.

In which Jason learns there is more to Dick Grayson than meets the eye. Or, in which characters are studied and heritage is explored. Or, magical realism and vigilantes shouldn't mix and this is why. And also, the author is self-indulgent and regrets everything.
Loosely inspired by "Chocolat". -

Summary
There’s a cafe on the corner of Ravenwood and Sylleblossom called Jericho run by a witch named Simon who, apparently, always knows not what you want but what you need. There’s magic baked into the pastries and brewed into the teas; there’s a cupcake iced with daydreams and a chai that tastes like self-confidence; there’s eclairs sprinkled with giddiness and an espresso that lingers with determination.
The cafe’s old weathered sign is in the shape of a ship, and ask anyone why it’s the most popular place in town and they’ll say it’s because at Jericho you can be yourself. At Jericho you can be free.

Summary
There was a quiet town in Kansas called Lawrence. If you lived in this town, you understood what was expected of you. You knew your place in the scheme of things and if you happened to forget, someone would help to remind you.
In Lawrence, if you saw something you weren’t supposed to see, you learned to look the other way. If you had been disappointed, you learned never to ask for more. So in good times and in bad, the townsfolk held fast to their traditions.
Until one wintery day, a sly wind blew in from the north.
