Summary
Prince Damianos of Akielos is embarking on a trip to Vere. But it isn’t the promise of peace or the chance to rekindle his friendship with king Auguste that draws him.
It’s tales of a monstrous Wolf who hunts at night, and the number of victims which are quickly piling up.
It’s the reward offered by Auguste, so desperate for the carnage to end that he’ll give anything to the one who kills it.
It’s a challenge from his father, who says whichever of his sons reclaims Defleur from the Veretians will be named his heir.
And soon, it’s Auguste’s mysterious younger brother, cold and beautiful, who Damen suspects knows more about the Wolf than he’s letting on.

A series of standalone one shots exploring the literary and musical traditions of Vere and Akielos.
1. Damen and Laurent attend the recitation of a new epic written in their honour... except it's not as flattering as it first appears.
2. Lazar teaches their new Akielon friends a traditional Veretian folk song at an inn on the way to Arles. It was only Pallas' luck Veretians were shameless even in their music.
3. Ancel returns to Sanpellier with Berenger in tow and takes a pub challenge, an exceedingly difficult rhyme song sang by pets for centuries. Alcohol is most certainly involved.

Summary
(Don’t) Rest in Peace follows the adventures of the gun (and sword!) toting Roland Carnegie (played by actor Laurent Dauphiné), historical scholar and treasure-hunting archeologist. Joined after the first episode by two partners Marcel Durand (Jord Moreau) and Adrian Collias (Nikandros Cora), Roland and his team travel Europe on the trail of lost or legendary sites and objects. In its early seasons, DRiP gained a decently-sized, but not massive following on LiveJournal. All combinations of the main Roland/Marcel/Adrian trio were explored in pairs or sometimes all together, though no single preferred pairing dominated.
In season 2, a new recurring character of Vik No-Last-Name (played by Damen Vasilias) was introduced, who got some fannish notice almost solely because people decided he was attractive enough to be shipped. The fact that actor Damen Vasilias was known to be openly bisexual also promoted a little further interest. Thus, a ship of Roland/Vik was born that had a small fandom following and minimal canon support.
All of this would change in season 3.
