He was dead.
A wave of peace washed over Treech. He was dead. It was over. He was safe.
So why was he still able to think?
Treech had never believed in the afterlife. No. He believed that when you died, you died. That's it. No living on in the clouds with the people you loved there to welcome you. No watching over others who still had the unfortunate luck of living in Earth. He knew it was depressing a depressing thought. Willow had always shook her head at his views of death, claiming that he needed to open his mind to other possibilities, and to stop thinking of the worst possible outcomes. But how could he? He thought it was stupid to have such high hopes for an unrealistic end.
But he obviously hadn't been right, because he was still here. He could still process thoughts. His brain was still working. He could faintly hear his own intake of breath. He could twitch his fingers slightly. Huh.
He wasn't dead. But he should be.
Or: After the events of the 10th Hunger Games, the tributes are brought back to life by Dr Gaul's twisted experiments, and they are thrown back into the Hunger Games. Only this isn't the average Arena. This is the Catching Fire arena.

after repairs on the town have started mizzen and bobbin get a tub to turn into a little frog pond

Bobbin hooks the basket over his arm so he can pick up any pretty rocks he sees. Though some end up in his pocket instead of the basket.
"Let me see whatcha got" Mizzen says lightly tugging on Bobbins arm, Bobbin holding the basket out to him “no not those ones. The ones in your pocket you can’t just hoard all the cool rocks.” Mizzen scolds with a pout.
Bobbin chuckles and pulls out his pockets, showing off a variety of shiny or colorful rocks, seeds, nuts and other knick knacks.
Mizzen smiles “thank you,” he says, grabbing it all.
“Hey!” Bobbin huffs, grabbing Mizzen’s arm before he can shove the treasures into his own pocket "Don't take my rocks!"
Mizzen laughs "they're not your rocks anymore, we’re gonna live together so they're our rocks!" he reminds
“Not the ones in my pockets! Give ‘em back!” he pesters yanking on his arm “i’ll put ‘em up on a shelf once the house is done. But those are mine”

Tanner was dying.
Coral didn’t have the time or energy to dwell too much on it. She just stood and watched as Treech quickly pulled the trident out of Tanner’s abdomen and handed it back to her.
She could still hear Tanner’s labored breaths as she started walking away from him and towards the last bottle of water. The same bottle of water that caused her to stab Tanner in the first place because he couldn’t keep his mouth shut and attempted to challenge her leadership.
Coral knew that her alliance was going to have to fall apart at some point during the games since there could only be one victor, but she did regret it. She was still human after all.
