"Ceto—" Chief's voice was cut off as Ceto's lips crashed against hers, pressing her against the desk, her back arching, a hand snaking around her waist, pressed against the back, acting as support, as the other went up to the Chief's throat, holding her gently.
Ceto pulled away, her eyes gazing down to Chief's lips, they drove her insane, soft, and glazed with saliva. She tried to go back for another kiss, but was met with a hand against her lips, coarse but not unwelcome, the hand on Chief’s throat now moving to meet her hand, the tip of her fingers brushing over Chief’s knuckles.
The Chief of the MBCC turned her face away, blush creeping up on her cheeks, "Not.. here. We could get caught."

Suddenly, the voice stopped. Hella froze and flexed her hand frantically to snuff out the flame. She leaned in closer, torn between the fear of discovery and the urge to hear more. If it was who she thought, and they were getting ready to leave, then if she timed it right she could get the jump on them as payback for keeping her cooped up for so long.
Then the door swung open and Chief's tired eyes looke down at her.
Hella froze. “Uh...” she said, feebly hunting for an excuse. “...Surprise?”

This takes place at the banquet in the Cabernet event with Chief attending it with Chameleon as companion. Since the event showed Sinners other than Hecate and Hella being used (finally) I thought of scenarios with other Sinners in it and as the event progressed, I felt Chameleon could be really useful. This is like a rewriting of the event with some changes and the smut.

前情提要：局长自从在黑环内吸收受骸者的碎片之后一直持续不断做噩梦，已经影响正常生活（虽然她自己不承认），该事件发生在局长很久之后出过一次任务后休假期间，局长精神力每况愈下，虽然之前定时在艾恩那里接受测试与在卡米利安那里接受心理辅导，但仍然效果不佳。
大概内容就是局长失意以后体内受骸者碎片暴走，局长长出触手失踪，夜莺外出寻找局长然后触手情节，最终局长回归管理局的故事。主要是触手情节，本来想着写一个片段瑟瑟的，结果把前因后果考虑完了写了个中篇（捂脸），也有比较鸡汤的部分，本人倾向于在绝望中寻找希望的悲观的乐观主义，所以文风偏温柔鸡汤。 -

Zoya was the most terrifying thing Syndicate had ever witnessed.
It was like God made her specifically for violence and destruction, from her towering figure, the pressure of absolute power that leaked from every part of her body, and the musky, damaging scent of ash that lingers on everything she touched.
Times and times again the mobs of the Syndicate would tremble at the mere smell of ash, scared out of their lives, cowering pathetically in the dark corners while waiting for the Legion to pass, yet somehow with half a mind to curse at Zoya and sympathize with the MBCC chief in a mocking manner.
After all, the forced bond between the most powerful woman of the Syndicate and the thin, soft, and meek chief was not a tale untold. Yet, the one in the stories could not be less confused, staring at anyone chanting the stories with wide eyes till they are basically torn apart under Zoya's claws.
