To add to her troubles, Lux has found herself in contention with Piltover's most destructive and evasive criminal.
Meanwhile, Seraphine is doing her part in trying to unify the societies of Piltover and Zaun. Seraphine finds herself battling against the inbred systemic issues which lace both cities, while also attempting to uncover and expose Piltover's underbelly.

This is a sequel to a previous Runeterra story I wrote "Light from the Shadows", which is the first story in the series. You can choose to read this story as a stand-alone entry, but this story will hold references to "Light from the Shadows" as well as pick up from where we last saw these characters.

But, to her surprise, it's nowhere near the end for the young mage. Met with the acceptance and kindness she never expected over her blunder, if anything, Lux's life only begins after her mistake. But, being accepted isn't enough when your very existence is a crime. Lux needs to do more, and with an army by her side, change seems more possible than ever. All that's left is deciding how to do it.
(It's basically a high school au of Demacia's civil war, but with a lot more champs and a lot more romance. Like, a lot more romance.)
