The council of dragons surrounds us, the stench of Sulphur filling the air. My green eyes meet violet ones, and my hand does not tremble as I reach for the cleaver on my back.
"We are not Empyrean, and we do not recognize your rules. We. Will. Not. Yield." My voice is even and powerful, lightning crackling at my fingertips as the sky darkens to a blood red. Heat builds next to me as Turok gathers his power, and my gaze slides back to Codagh.
"So be it."
