It was just the two of them. They’d lost their third, Caustic, early on in an accident that didn’t look all that much like an accident from where Elliott had been standing. But, well, Elliott knew better than to confront Crypto about it. Personal business, or vendettas, were not acceptable topics of discussion between them. Not that they talked much. Sometimes Elliott babbled on random topics and Crypto hummed like he was actually half listening, but most of their conversations were strictly physical. Skin against skin, an exchange of hungry mouths and greedy hands.

He was curious, or so he’d claim if anyone asked him why he was walking down the hall, carrying the soup in one hand and twirling the spoon in the other. Delivering the soup might give him a glimpse to why Ajay had made it — homemade from scratch with care — for the most unsociable jerk there ever was. Elliott frowned, knowing he was unfairly judging Crypto’s stoic distance, but it irked to know Ajay had somehow befriend Crypto when Elliott had been trying to do just that since day one.

My collection of fics for Cryptage week on Twitter and Tumblr. The plan is for these to be a singular consecutive story, with the possible exception of the AU theme (though I have ideas for tying that in as well. We shall see.)
Day 1 - Train || Crypto's trained himself to keep people at arm's length for most of his life, but Mirage is nothing if not tenacious.
Day 2 - Wink || When an article is released that hints at a relationship between Crypto and Mirage, Crypto finds himself in distress. Mirage, on the other hand, takes full advantage of the opportunity.
