Embarrassment crept up her spine as she realised this, “Oh my god. I’m so sorry, you didn’t need to bother yourself to help me. I could’ve asked Tisha-”
“No. I wanted to help. I told you I’d be here for you, didn’t I?”
“Eh… I suppose you did.” The toon sighed, resting her head back on the metal as she began to heat up again and mumbling, “Still, you didn’t need to. You were probably busy…”
Vee just rolled her eyes, tightening her grip around the toon when she felt her hold soften, “Well, I didn’t have much to do today. I’m not bothering myself with it.”
Shelly grumbled, a light blush forming on her cheeks at the toon’s words. She closed her eye, holding herself closer to the cold metal as it cooled her down.
A silence hung between them as Shelly thought about the past two days, the realization that she had, in fact, spent time with Vee dawning on her. It made her feel giddy, wanting to kick her feet happily and wag her tail. She thought about the conversations they had, letting out a small giggle, “I think you were right about me being sick…”
Vee playfully scoffed at this, “Of course, I’m always right.”

Summary
Astro is the deity of all dreams and weathers. But after thousands of years doing the same thing over and over, it gets a bit stale.
So, in a mix of boredom and curiousity, Astro travels down to earth, hidden away in a normal toon disguise to see its many wonders.
But, while sneaking into a house in hopes to be able to transform back to his real form and go home... he meets a particularly frustrated crustacean.

Natalie was holding Twisted Shrimpo in her arms, Shrimpo himself was tied with Sprout's scarf. Natalie was hugging him and throwing him around like a doll, but he Shrimpo looked surprisingly calm.
"Natalie, what the glitter? Why do you have Shrimpo here?" Papa asked in a very concerned voice.
"Hey Glisten! I don't know what you look like but it's good to hear you! And I found this cutie wandering around the floor! So he wouldn't hurt you I tied him up with an old scarf I found somewhere around here!"
Shrimpo made some gurgling sounds, it sounded like he had something in his throat. Papa's eye widened in shock. "Shrimpo! Don't say that!"
"What did he say?" I asked curious about Twisteds' language.
"Well, to put it in a way that Rogder and Glisten wouldn't kill me, Shrimpo said that your papa looked like poop, and that he looked like he'd been chewed up by a cat. No offense Glis, Shrimpo is just a little nervous."
"Okay? No problem. But wait, how do we hide from Dandy? Rogder is in Toodles' backpack, but the three of us? And don't look at me like that Natalie, I know you want to take Shrimpo with you."
"Well, Dandy installed a TV in the elevator to warn us about Twisted Dandy. Shrimpo can hide under it, and you can hide out of his sight, behind the walls of his shop. And dad is in my backpack. What do you think?" Papa and Natalie nodded yes but Natalie said something about how she hates Dandy, and Shrimpo gurgled something, which Natalie translated as "You're crazy lil sis, I like that, im in."

Ichor poured out dangerously fast. It was everywhere. In the water, on the tiles, on his lap, everywhere. Dandy felt his head getting lighter. He was losing the Ichor in his body. He felt the Ichor surround him. The Ichor from his skin becomes a tide, rising up around him like water, threatening to pull him under.

I love this!!!! I love this very much! Definitely a favourite :]My favourite toons - Rodger and Astro - getting delightful spotlight and feeling in character. Delectable angst, a sprinkle of fluff, plenty of hurt/comfort (my beloved), biased narration based on p.o.v, arguments that feel real, Dandy being morally grey- it's great!
Reminds me of a rp I was apart of.
((Spoilers below, for my own reference))
In which no one is good, no one is bad, nightmares plague Astro and Rodger (What is real, what is not?), ichor is Dandy's potential key to immortality- toon and human blood, mental states are out the window, and Rodger may or may not be becoming twisted :]
(Pebble's on the loose, Rodger is a half sane twisted locked in his room, everyone is holding up in the medical bay. Astro adventures...)
