    I am nothing if not clever when it comes to titles *eyeroll*, and so I present Fictober 2018!

    Based on the Inktober 2018 prompts, I will be attempting to complete 31 Kingsman based fics in the month of October. Similar to Fictober 2017, these will likely be unrelated one-shots, I'm guessing mostly Merlin/Eggsy because that's where my brain is these days, but I've been known to wander into Merlin/Harry and dabble in Harry/Eggsy.

    There are Humans, and there are some that are a little bit more. Not quite non-Humans, but a bit more. Avians exist alongside Humans as just another branch of mankind, beings that appear more or less humanoid to the layman and the naked eye, their history and past lost as Humankind advanced. Now, they are simply people who have extra eyelids, or nictitating membranes, sometimes express wings and feathers, and surpass the Human average strength and endurance. There are, as with Humans, haves and have-nots, and Eggsy is one that falls in between, caught between ignoring his physiology and trying to become it. Because of where he's ended up ever since his father died, it just seems so much easier to forget about it and lie low, but he just can't forget that one curious man dressed to the nines and the phrase "Oxfords, not Brogues." He doesn't even know what that means, and he certainly doesn't know what it means to be a gentleman, Human, or Avian, but perhaps he could learn, if only he could smooth out the chip in his shoulder.

A masquerade ball to be held at the Palace, one where a young Scottish Prince, by the name of Sebastian, would attend in hopes to please his father, and find a suitable partner to wed when he takes the throne.

    Eggsy and Sebastian attend the ball for different reason's, but both with a hope that true love may be waiting. And as fortune turns out, they just may find it.
