“I’m trying to figure out whether you are planning to kill me or not,” you said bluntly. Huffing softly Ed shook his head.
“It’s the opposite actually. We were looking to - we wanted to see - we need your help,” he managed, Looking to Lorraine.

A lot of creative liberties are taken - the story line is changed slightly but still follows along the storyline of the conjuring universe. The depictions of witchcraft are dramatized but mostly accurate. As a practicing witch myself I took some liberties writing that as well. -

From the outside it looked like a perfectly normal, rural Connecticut duplex house, the kind expanded from an old farm house. Or a funeral home, as it turned out. The cellar, as was so often the case, revealed a darker underbelly.
Ed’s seen some things. Hell, in his darker moments he wonders if he’s truly seen hell itself. Hell on Earth, that is. It’s nothing compared to the visions that torment Lorraine as he is left to only watch helplessly, guiding her back to him as best he can.
