Shrapnel leered at Mirage, helm tilt curiously. “And what would that be, be?” Shrapnel asked, interested in what the Autobot had in mind.
“In exchange for my release…” Mirage almost couldn’t get the words to leave his mouth, balking at his own idea. Cliffjumper’s words accusing him of being a traitor came to mind.
“I offer myself to you… and we interface.”
“You want to give yourself up to us, us?”
“If I’m released afterwards.”

Set during the episode 'Traitor'. Caught much earlier and taken hostage by the Insecticons, Mirage offers to interface with them in exchange for his release. What he doesn't expect is that he gets a lot more than what he bargained for.
