Summary
One of the biggest things he needs to process is also kind of the thing he feels like he needs to process the least. It’s not like he’s stupid, or in the level of complete and total denial that he imagines a lot of people think he is. Outwardly, yes, but as much as he’s tried to avoid thinking about it he knows that it means something, the fact that in yet another one of his fantasies he was with Annie. And whatever that something is, it absolutely is not platonic. Sure, he’s been running from it since the transfer dance, maybe even earlier. But he knows it’s there. And he’s very aware of how strong it is.
After he graduates, Jeff gets to spend some time alone with Annie.
