The heat of the humid night, Max pushing hard, harder than usual.
George’s Mercedes followed closely by Max’s Red Bull, the two of them fighting closely corner by corner, Max desperately searching for a gap.
Then, the crash. The collision as Max’s front wing clipped George’s rear tyre and sent him straight into the barriers. The accident that had ended George’s race and somehow sealed Max’s win, which didn’t feel right at all.
The silence that followed, louder than any cheer of the crowd.
