Shitty parenting aside, it was the American health care system that had prompted Mickey to hone his skill and turn it into a side hustle. MagiCare only covered extremely high-risk curses, making the reversal of anything non-lethal a luxury rather than a right, so Mickey—like the responsible and concerned citizen that he was—offered his services on the DL for a more than affordable price. Only thing he asked for in return was discretion.
He bit his lip, considering. “Not a cop, are you?”
Ian blinked. “What? Uh, no. Why?”
He scratched at his eyebrow. “Just sayin’, if you ever get cursed and don’t wanna ride it out . . . I might know someone who can take care of it.” -

Ian's never really told him but he's dangerously close to drooling every time Mickey just casually pulls it over his hair and then takes a few seconds to check himself in the mirror, arranging random locks in a careful disarray. Yeap, just imagining it sends a pleasant tingle down his spine. Maybe he has a hair kink - is there even such a thing?"

The Prince was so close to beating that smile off his face. With his head held up high, he passed the blacksmith in spite.
"I shouldn't have expected this from you."
"What's supposed to mean, oh mighty prince?"
"Nothing Mikhailo. Only that your family is lousy, disgusting, and no where near worth of standing beside me." He believed his words. And Mikhailo needed a reminder that they are not the same.
Mikhailo stopped laugh and walked right up in face. Hands already on his axe.

He could hear Lip's tone of voice was different than usual. This can’t be good.
“Shit is it fucking Tami? The baby okay?!” A million different scenarios flowed through Ian’s mind at this point. And the longer Lip took to tell him what the fuck was going on the more he worried.
"No it's Frank. He's uh- he's gone."
