"Camnir?" Who? He looks around for who could be meant, before he remembers that that is his own name. Strange. How could he forget that? There used to be more people here with him, but where have they gone? Away. All away, away.
"Camnir…" Elrond mutters and cups his cheek, so much closer now and he missed it entirely. He is still clad in armour and oh, he looks awful, bloody and covered in mud, scratched and stiff in every movement. "Here you are. I was looking everywhere, I feared…"
Or: In the aftermath of battle, Camnir is found, finds someone he thought lost, and lost less than he feared.

Summary

‘This has to be Galadriel’s most ridiculous idea yet!’ Elrond's voice was still raised. ‘You, in a party, with her?! Camnir, you have no business hunting orcs!’ He rested his elbows on the table, putting his hands to his forehead.
‘Elrond, can you hear me?’ a voice whispered urgently above him. He forced his eyes open—realizing for the first time that they had been closed—and saw Galadriel leaning over him. Her face was streaked with dirt and soot, her hair wet with sweat.
Behind her, the pale grey morning sky swirled hazily into view. He was lying down. He tried to sit up, but the pain in his shoulder flared so intensely that he fell back with a gasp, the world around him flashing to white. -
