Summary
it starts as yet another scavenging job for miss quinn--a simple dive into an abandoned vault isn't something she'd put too much thought into. but when she stumbles upon a dying woman who begs her to save her stolen baby, everything turns upside down.
soon enough, quinn finds herself roaming the entire commonwealth in search of this lost child and the bastard who stole him. she meets new friends along the way, such as an anarchist journalist, a ghoulish mayor, and a synth detective. intertwined, they search for this missing boy alongside her.
of course, it's important to mention that quinn is an intelligent deathclaw--a mutated version of the terror of the wastes, gifted with human speech and thought. and last time quinn checked, human infants and deathclaws don't go well together. in fact, it's a parent's worst nightmare.
but quinn is determined; she's willing to fight against the odds to save this boy, to fulfill her promise to the dying woman. perhaps these monstrous claws can hold humanity after all.

Canyon is the brains, Dakota is the brawn... though it doesn't really look like that's how it should add up. Chased out of New Reno for the obvious reason of "nobody trusts a Deathclaw," one mechanic and their extremely unlikely business partner are now trying to eke out a peaceful life in the Mojave. What bad timing.
