For a while, I'd been living a new life. NYC, bartender at Bad Weather. It was a simple life, perhaps too ordinary for some. But it was my life. One that I sometimes wish I were still living. But these days are long behind me. For thousands of years, we, the Assassins, have fought the Templar Order. We fight to free minds, spread knowledge to the masses. The Templars fight for the the opposite, to control and subdue the masses. I've seen this fight through my own eyes. Through the Animus.
It reads our genetic memories, letting us relive the lives of our ancestors. First, I was Altair Ibn-La'Ahad. My Levantine Ancestor from the crusades. Then, I was Ezio Auditore da Firenze. My ancestor from the Italian Renaissance. Most recently, I became Ratonhnhaké:ton. My Mohawk ancestor from the American Revolution. Through the Animus, I've gained their skills and knowledge.
But there's something far worse coming than the Templars, or the solar flare that wiped out those who came before. Juno is coming, and we need to prepare.

'What is happening?’
‘What is the last thing I remember?’ He gave himself that one simple directive. Coaxing his mind to sift through information felt like trudging blindly through a dense fog in a rocky field. He didn't know what he was even looking for.
What did he remember doing before this?
He remembered-
‘Hot sun and the taste of pomegranates on his tongue as he sipped the cool refreshing juice from a cup. Mint leaves steeped carefully to add a crispness to the honey sweetened flavor that danced across his taste buds. The view of the mountains in the arid evening was a beautiful one as he perched upon the balcony of Masyaf castle. Malik sat beside him, reclined back with a cushion stuffed against his back as he used a stone pillar to support himself with one leg easily dangling off the ledge. His lone hand raised his cup to his lips as he sipped the same refreshing drink Altaïr was indulging in. A well earned reprieve after a long hot day tending to their duties as the new mentors of Masyaf.’
He remembered pleasant memories as Masyaf healed from the pain Al Mualim inflicted on them all. So how did he get to here?
It was a question he was eager to know the answer to.

So, what if Desmond got Clay out of the animus and they shared Desmond's body? Then what if when Juno was released by the temple, she turned Desmond into an Isu so she could take over his body but didn't account for there being two people in the same body? What if Clay and Desmond manage to wrestle their body back but now Desmond is the god of electricity? What if they all go on missions together and cause chaos along the way.
I have no idea who would write that though....

As part of a peace treaty between his homeland and the largest empire in the continent, Desmond is betrothed to Crown Prince Loki, only son and heir of Empress Juno.
He is sent to the empire at a young age for his education as the future emperor consort but everyone knew that he's a political hostage.
Even so, Empress Juno favored him more than her own flesh and blood and her treatment led to the crown prince falling in love with someone else.
While the empress was away, Prince Loki proclaimed the dissolution of their engagement and banished Desmond from the empire.
On his way back home to a kingdom that no longer needed him, he is attacked by assassins sent for his head.
He managed to escape but was badly wounded, only to be saved by an ancient dragon who hoards knowledge and gold. -
