Set shortly after the fight with Lang Rangler and Jolyne/Weather. McQueen has recovered from his electrocution attempt and has gone back to stealing money (he’s hiding it in a new place now) and generally being himself.
*HEADCANON ALERT*
In the manga Ermes states that she gave McQueen a DISC back (not the stand one), but she still has one of his memory DISCs, so for the purpose of this story I'm assuming she gave him a DISC that had the memories of their encounter. McQueen thinks the whole thing was a weird dream while he was recovering.Also Jolyne/Weather are never shown removing any DISCs from Lang, so I assumed they were in a rush and couldn't be bothered, ergo why Lang still has his stand/memories in this fic.
