Quinze ans ce sont écoulés depuis la fin de la Guerre Sainte. Il en a fallu du temps, mais les résurrections ont enfin eut lieu, cependant si tout le monde se réjouissait au départ, ils ont vite déchantés.
Les ors sont incapables de s'entendre et ne font que se battre et se disputer, les argents n'en peuvent plus d'eux, les domestiques désespèrent, les bronzes sont au bord de la crise de nerf et les gardes sur le point de poser leur démissions. Saori n'a pas le choix si elle veut voir la paix revenir sur son sanctuaire, elle doit envoyer ses dorées en vacances jusqu'à ce qu'ils apprennent à communiquer et à régler leur conflit autrement qu'en se battant.
De son côté, Aiolos souffre de la situation. Ses cadets sont maintenant tous adultes alors que lui est resté un adolescent. Il ne parvient pas à comprendre les raisons de leurs disputes constantes, ni pourquoi son frère est aussi isolé de ses anciens camarades. Pour ne rien arranger, il est constamment assaillit par les cauchemars et la peur, cela n'a rien de chevaleresque et plus le temps passe plus il a l'impression d'être un poids pour tout ceux qui l'entoure.

Kanon, a marine biologist and activist, discovers, through his political enemy, the businesswoman Saori Kido, that he is actually Athena's Gold Saint, who fought in the Holy War against Hades and ressurected without his memories.
From what everyone knows, Athena, born in this age as Saori herself, was accused and tried for alleged war crimes against the gods and the Olympus, and as a punishment, the Gold Saints had their souls sealed. However, years later, they were released by a mysterious entity, leaving no clue.
In order to prevent his twin brother Saga from having to fight an endless war against the Olympian gods, Kanon offers to be the Gemini Gold Saint. The Gold Saints must fight one more time, because the fate of mankind cannot continue in the hands of the gods.
