Summary
Monsters may be free, but there is a high price to pay for the one that freed them. Deciding Frisk is better off being a mystery, the monsters leave it alone for 14 years. Until Frisk is discovered. Undyne and Sans try to reach her in time, but she is left with a fatal wound. With even boss monsters unable to heal her, Sans heals her the only way left.
However, that was part of Gaster's plan . . . but Flowey was not. The result is wedding bells ringing twice for Frisk. Once to Asriel . . . and once to Sans?

Summary
Asriel came to the surface, having absorbed Chara's soul, but he did not find humanity. He found what was left on them. Humans were on the defensive, driven back by a magical force that wasn't monsterkind, leaving room for monsters to claim their place in the sun.
Now, Frisk travels to the new monster capital and finds themselves more entangled in the politics of monsters than any mage has cause to be. They must work with a noticeably erratic Monster King Asriel and assist with his many pet projects. The least of which is the extraction of an intact human soul from a monster, the greatest of which is to unravel the worst threat that monsters have ever faced. If they fail, monsters won't be exiled beneath another barrier. They will perish, humanity alongside them.

Since Monsters came to the surface, there have been some changes in Monster and Human relations. The Big War is over, prosperity is returning to the two species and Frisk is dating Sans. The two have been inseparable but things are far from perfect. Humans dating Monsters is a new concept, most don’t approve and others think it won’t last. After all, they are both very different.

Now bad things are happening, Monsters are disappearing and Frisk must save the day again.

Long ago, monsters and humans lived in harmony. That was, until a war broke out between the two races. The humans were victorious, and sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. Fast forward to today, and humanity has no knowledge about monsters besides the ones that appear on their TV screens on Halloween. But due to the peace that had existed so long ago, a few "monsters" still remain on the surface, not knowing their own identities. A few had been found and exiled, only to be forgotten within years.
One of those monsters was an orphan named Frisk.

Sans is facing the Human in the corridor, trying to stop them before it is too late. Everyone else he knows is dead. His only hope is to force them to Reset. It was the only way to undo this utter genocide of the monsters.
Frisk is living on the surface with his friends and family. The monsters were alive and free after so long and so many mistakes. Then something happens to the broken machine, leaving a strange monster behind while another vanishes.
Their friend is in danger in a timeline that no longer happened, so Frisk faces a demon of the past to save him: Chara.

Life is easy for Frisk... If easy meant being the only last living child of two magicians that made the barrier that stopped the war between monsters and humans and is now being haunted by two spirit like things that seem insane themselves and is being forced to eliminate all monsters underground because of fear that they may come back soon though that was just a cover-up for an even bigger plan. Yeah... Real easy.
