A re-telling of a confrontation from the Astraeus Route (S1) between Cyprin, MC, and Hades, told from Hades' POV.
Hades has always privately feared that the domain of death precluded him from having the things other gods took for granted - love, family, children. He believed he was meant to be alone, due to his nature. This woman gave him hope, that maybe it didn't have to be that way - and then, in one heartbreaking moment, threw back in his face that the only thing he knew or would ever be was death.
And the cruel irony is that she was right.
