Summary
Wol is a knight of the Kingdom of Corneria. He and his Blastoise may be the kingdom's only hope as a crisis emerges that threatens not only his homeland but also the lives of his friends Garland and Sarah.
A retelling of the original NES Final Fantasy game's story but with Pokemon and a heavy dose of Gen 1. Wol stands in for the unnamed protagonists of both series, a man who prefers a pokeball and shield over a weapon of his own. This chapter retells the starting stages of FF1 which will be very familiar to anybody who has passing knowledge of the game. Still, here's hoping that you'll find surprises and intrigue despite the familiar tale. And some thrilling pokemon battles too!

Ian Lightfoot, age 16. Though charged with a great destiny, he has only just begun to scrape the surface of his magical abilities when his quest begins. Riddled with insecurity, he strives to live up to a father he has never met.
Yemina Azuresea, age 17. A friendly-though-crafty thief with an affinity for daggers, she strives to bring cheer to a world in despair whilst also attempting to reconnect with her older cousin, Agave. Her sunny disposition keeps her true thoughts a mystery.
Agave Highwind, age 18. A proud soldier wielding an heirloom spear, he sees his quest as a means to validate his superiority as a leader and a warrior. Though rude and ruthless, he is protective of his cousin, Yemina, and values family above all else.
