"I've figured it out," Jade whispers one day. Kit's tucked against her, curled against her front with her head nestled in the space between Jade's breasts and her throat. It's the slow end to a lazy day, both of them free from any particular obligations. For once, they're able to choose to spend the afternoon lounging together in Jade's quarters.
"Figured out what?" Kit asks.
