Summary
Once upon a time, in Shuggazoom City, lived a pair of siblings who loved each other very much. The boy had a magical destiny—he was to become the blade that would shatter the darkness that threatened to destroy the universe. And the girl would become the shield to guard him, to protect him from everything the universe could throw at them.
Amber Rinelli knew her brother better than anyone. She knew that Chiro had wanted to be a hero his entire life. When he was given the opportunity to realize that dream by becoming leader of the Hyperforce, she watched him go with a little bit of worry. She loved him too much for anything to happen to him, and she knew that the life of a hero was a very dangerous one. But as Chiro went along his hero’s journey, Amber found herself getting wrapped up in the middle of all the Hyperforce’s troubles as well. And so Amber’s story became the story of two siblings, five cyborg monkeys, a robot girl, and a super robot—a team, a family bonded in love and light, that would stand tall against the forces of darkness.
(Or, it’s basically a show rewrite from the POV of Chiro’s sister!)

This was Nova's problem. An emotional one. She could handle those easy-peasy if they were other people’s. How many times had she been Chiro's shoulder to cry on, or Antauri's confidant? How many times did she mediate when Otto said something insensitive and Gibson got angry over it?
But having her own emotional problems? Needing to confront that red menace that stole her heart? Pfft, get real.
And yet.
(Nova is too proud to ask Sparx out over the holidays. So, she tries to set up an elaborate scheme instead. However, she just can't seem to catch a break.)

This fanfic is based off of an AU me and my girlfriend (Themechcelestial on Instagram!!!) made back in January. It originally started as a joke when we came up with a crackship between Sprx-77 and Mammott from my singing monsters. Because of this, we called it the Mammsprx AU for months. But it’s also called the postwar AU because sometimes I don’t wanna explain this is a crackship AU to someone who’s never heard of it. Sometimes, we just call Mammott ‘Dolly’ instead as a placeholder. Here is an entire timeline that formed from this originally satire au. Leaving out some details then and there but this is just a “quick” summary.
Also, there is fanmade designs for all these characters already made. I have to redesign a few but I’ll post all the redesigns onto my other social medias someday.

Also I'm tired of the trope that chiro's the vulnerable one in fics, I love the dynamic between the team being older than him and stuff but...yk they be makin him too soft...idk I'm not good at explaining:b
