One year has passed since The Force Awakens. Rey is training with Luke when she is lured away and kidnapped by an obsessed Kylo Ren and taken to his secret lair in a cave on Dagobah, where he plans to seduce her by physical and psychological means to the Dark Side.
Kylo is written in a similar fashion as Erik in Phantom of the Opera. Genre is a Gothic romance/suspense. Edgy, emotionally volatile, slightly unhinged Kylo for the first half. (Rey will be fine.)

Erik is, for the first time, late for tea. He and Christine have tea together every Friday and they haven't missed this once unless it happened on a holiday or if one of them was away. It's very strange then, for Erik to be late as he is - always so eager to spend time with Christine.
When he finally arrives clearly flustered and annoyed Christine manages to pry out the reason for his frustrations and is shocked to learn Nadir has been teasing their mutual friend for having never been kissed.
So what does Christine do? She offers to help her friend of course.
