Summary
Before the kidnapping of Christine Daaé, a string of grizzly murders take place within the walls of the Paris Opera House, the most brutal the city has ever seen.
Each body has its unique flair, theatrical and for all to bare witness, yet none are the Phantom's doings. Even the Phantom is intrigued as to who this killer may be, especially when the killings start being incorrectly credited to the Phantom of the Opera himself.
It is only Erik who knows the Opera House well enough to save it from its ruin, and it is up to him to catch the unknown killer who hides in shadows as well as he.

Christine Daaé couldn't be happier, studying litrature in France and living with a wonderful host in the heart of Paris. Life could not be better for her. But something is missing, something was alway missing. A longing lived in her which she couldn't name, couldn't place. Since she moved here to Paris it had been better...up until she had a strange encounter at the Palais Garnier. How will this influence her life?
This is a modern retelling of my favourite musical/movie/any other form of media. It involves Vampires, Vampire Hunters, a lot of humor and sarcasm. I am horrible at sumarries and this took me ages to write.

As a destitute unwanted girl with no place in the world, Christine navigates the dark waters of the Opera stage, inevitably finding herself at the furthest fringes of decent society, prey of wealthy patreons frequenting backstage doorways. In the shadows of the great Opera House, a watchful guardian emerges from the darkness to shape Christine's voice, instructing her to sing, restoring her voice to brilliant prowess once again. Christine believes this voice to be the Angel of Music sent by her father to guide and guard her from heaven, but as she ventures further deep into the shadows of the Opera House she discovers a underground kingdom of masks, mysteries and ghosts.

Christine, once a mere chorus girl, has now risen to leading soprano. With newfound success come many desiring to ruin it. They however, are unaware that she is under protection by the enigma dubbed the “Phantom of the Opera”.
Christine must choose between her mysterious maestro or her softhearted childhood friend. Both of which, unknown to her, have their own dark secrets. Drama and intrigue ensue, passions are discovered, and mysteries are revealed.
I’ll try my best to be accurate with cannon, if there are any inconsistencies or inaccuracies please forgive me. I’m mostly using the 2004 film’s characters. But it can be easily interchanged with the musical versions. It’s my first time posting on this site so please forgive me if I take some time to learn to use it right. I’m open to criticism! I’ll appreciate every comment and interaction. Hopefully you’ll enjoy!
