Summary
Truly, until this moment, Narcissa hadn’t given the girl another thought. She had come to the opera house as an orphan and she had taken the girl into the dance troupe easily enough, but now, standing in the deep halls of the opera house, hearing her voice echo off the walls, she realizes there's something more to Hermione Granger after all.
Hermione hears a voice from behind the wall, offering to teach her how to really sing, claiming to be her angel of music. She doesn't believe in angels, but she'll take the lessons. Still, who is the man behind the wall and why is he so unwilling to come out?

Soft is the light streaming through the small round windows, its shine white and rather cold, the new year starting with a gust of wind and flakes of snow, the window glass covered in flowers of frost. Outside, the roofs and roads seem covered in a thin layer of icing, lace along the branches of the trees, the skies overcast, the whole world apparently coming to a halt. Even the Seine has frozen over. There are carts driving along the streets and sometimes the voices of people may ring through the icy air, yet it all seems no more than a distant echo of a different world to most inhabitants of the grand Opera house. Inside, a wholly different world exists.

It is long past midnight and through the thick walls of the building one can make out the distant toiling of bells from Notre Dame. There is no moon tonight to light the streets and so a nearly eery silence lays over the Opera house and its tenants. If it weren’t for the torches and gas-lamps to light the many passages and corridors on its nearly countless floors, she knows the unending paths through the opera house would easily turn into a labyrinth, each corner filled with more shadows then the other- not even counting the secret passages and underground maze. As it is, she makes her way along the changing rooms to her own quarters without so much as a minute of thought. Living for years inside this walls she knows every single corner by heart. Nearly every single corner.
