    It’s a song and dance they’re familiar with. No strings attached, fast and fleeting pleasure when it’s craved. This started some time ago, back when Clive still led the deliverance, far before they even considered invading Rigel. Maybe it was the faint buzz of wine that stirred Python’s touch to travel, or perhaps how Lukas never seemed to push him away. Something between them had built up, far too difficult to ignore. One night turned into many, kisses and touches attempting to provide answers for questions neither man wished to ask. Python believes there’s no need to bother with this, as it’s better to shut off his mind for once in his life.

    The stress of war leads Lukas to Python's bed once more in a quiet little inn in the snowy outskirts of Rigel, attempting to forget the war yet again. In Python's case, it's trying to ignore feelings that have no place in this arrangement they've made.
