Makalaurë (Maglor) and Findekáno (Fingon), still young in Valinor, argue over who gets to use the nickname "Káno." Maitimo (Maedhros) is vaguely exasperated and amused in the sort of way that elder brothers tend to be. -

Eve and Findekáno are enjoying their courtship. Turukáno and Elenwë are married. Artanis and Iríssë are adults. Nelyafinwë continues to third wheel. Only this time, Melkor is around. Seeds of strife are sown in Valinor, seeds that will sprout weeds soon enough.
Eve, once of the world of Earth and now mostly accustomed to elven life, finds herself caught in a family feud to rival anyone from her own world. What began with half-brothers slowly extends to half-cousins until she is caught between her adopted brothers and the love of her life. With Melkor in play and the Silmarils shining, how will she navigate the politics of Valinor?
