Gnarpy stumbles upon an oddly placed elevator in the middle of the forest while scavenging for parts to fix xyr spaceship, and creeps into it while nobody seems to be inside, attempting to search it for parts to fix the ship, but doesn't expect to meet the missing alien, Halcyonix, calmly standing in the elevator, tapping their paw impatiently for the elevator to start moving again.

A smile grew on Yronica’s face, one that seemed warped and twisted in his vision, because Aaaqil had seen that same smile before—the day after she and Callum started dating—when she figured how to hurt Aaaqil, how to make him leave with a hurried apology, how to punch him in the gut without laying a finger on him.
Aaaqil suddenly wasn’t that hungry anymore.
