Behold, my readers.
This is the beginning. The genesis. The very first fanfic I ever wrote and published. My first full length story. Frame of the Undying Fortitude dates all the way back to 2007, finishing in 2010. Now here it is in a more refined form, edited and revised for quality. Certain sections maybe rewritten entirely. While not as focused on what nowadays is my -usual- content, it has no shortage of DID scenes- the very first ones I ever wrote in fact. Now dive into the work of my younger self and see the tale that propelled me toward the path I'm on today. This story is 10 chapters long, plus an epilogue. Chapters will be added as I finish editing/revising/rewriting them. I may even add the special extended ending, and the alternate bad ending, neither of which I ever finished.

Summary
In 1989 two children were born, Hakurei Reimu and Gojo Satoru. Four years later the insurgent youkai sorcerers who feared the new era exterminated the Hakurei Clan leaving Reimu the only survivor. A year after that she and Gojo Satoru would meet for the first time. Seven years after that the chief architect of the Hakurei massacre returned with a student in tow, an orphan girl named Marisa Kirisame. Four years after that fateful meeting the three would meet a new student at Jujutsu High, Geto Suguru.
It is now 2006 and the big four of Jujutsu High: Hakurei Reimu, Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, and Marisa Kirisame have been tasked with ensuring the reincarnation of Yakumo Yukari.
A retelling of the Hidden Inventory/Premature Burial from JJK merged with Touhou, so Reimu and Marisa are sorcerers.Note: This is a reworking of a previous idea I had, which can be found in the same series as this fic, although this isn't a continuation of that idea. Ever since moving her mansion to Gensokyo, Remilia Scarlet’s been living the life she'd always wanted. A slew of new friends, constant chaos and whimsy, and the freedom to do almost anything she wants. She was in paradise.
At least, that's what she thought. But after a few decades of living there, Remilia thinks she's gotten used to it all. What was once exciting, now bores her. Despite reassurances from her fellow residents, she's grown tired with the status quo to the point where, even though she hates the outside world, she's began longing for the few things she missed there that she can't get in Gensokyo, and wonders how it’s changed since she left.
But one day, a strange group of outsiders arrive at the mansion to give Remilia a proposal. With their arrival, Remilia is left struggling to reconcile her awful past in the outside world, with her own curiosity and desire for change. And if Gensokyo accepts her for who she is, is it okay for her to want to relive the world that wronged her so many times just because she’s become too used to Gensokyo, and said world might have improved since then?
All these concerns come to a head, as she gets ready to make a choice that may change her life forever.
