Summary
The year is 1930. The Great Depression is in full swing, but you wouldn’t know it in the first-class saloons of transatlantic steamers or the dining car of luxury trains chugging their way across the Alps.
Samuel Portnoy Jr., who would never deign to be called anything other than just “Sam” —is only 33 years old but has blazed a trail across the world making a name for himself as the whizkid of detective work, the best thing since Sherlock Holmes. He was hoping to spend a few days of R&R in Istanbul, but circumstances land him in yet another complicated pickle.

Summary
In this extraordinarily tardy “Summer For Sickos” entry, various Roys et al. experience the slow fade of Logan Roy’s pernicious influence over their personal lives in the summer following his death.
Logan would probably rotate 360 full degrees in his grave if he could see how soft everybody’s metaphorical dicks are going in this fic.
Various reprehensible characters will commit extremely minor acts of redemption. Some will fall in love.

It's not Roman's fault that every middle-aged man he meets gets a little gay for him.
(in which Roman does end up sleeping with Laurie... and Martyn, and an architect called Baird, and a cardiologist, and Gerri's friend from college, and a dominatrix, and an accountant, and Karolina, all in the hopes to win Gerri's heart)

Summary
When Roman comes into his office, the sun is setting on Manhattan, and Ratfucker Sam is sitting on his couch as he openly laughs at something on his phone. Roman stands, stares, and tilts his head. "Can I help you?" he asks, then clarifies, "sorry, I mean, what are you doing here? I don't actually want to help you."
Sam lifts his head to meet Roman's gaze, a mix of disdain and fascination in his eyes, and gestures with his head. "Come over here, man," he says. "I have good news and bad news."
Sam gets down to brass tacks with Roman about a few things.

Summary
WEEK TEN: Gerri Kellman owns a little bookstore in Manhattan, but aspires to make it so much more than that. The only person getting in her way is Roman Roy, who is competing for the same venture capital as Gerri.
There's also the small matter of the penpal she can't stop thinking about.
Or: The You've Got Mail AU
Underneath the crown, she has beautifully wavy locks of golden blonde hair piled into a bun, her curls sticking out from it, with one curly tendril framing her face. Her eyes are so deeply blue that he feels like he’s gazing into the ocean. Not to be dramatic or anything. And her lips are pulled into a sincere smile, her nose crinkling and her cheeks all red as she continues her engaging storytelling. She has literally everyone’s attention, her voice booming throughout the small store, and Roman hangs on her every word.

Summary
They usually meet in Roman’s office, once or twice have met in Roman’s apartment, but never in Sam’s. But Sam had texted Roman to say that he was busy tonight, and Roman had found that inexplicably annoying.
“Roman.” Sam seems startled as he opens the door. “I thought I said I couldn’t see you today?”
“Yep.” Roman clicks his tongue. “‘Busy’ apparently. Don’t look very busy to me.”
