    The Kingdom of Zilkhstan chooses to align themselves with the newly created UFN, joining them prior to the establishment of the charter. Lelouch is well aware that they are up to something, but right now his concern lies in completing the task before him in restoring Japan and freeing it from Britannia, a necessary step in assuring that the UFN will have the strength to change the world for the better.

    Then the first FLEIJA is used and the Betrayal happens.

    Shamna knows very well that Lelouch is her greatest threat and so sends a group of assassins after him, who know where to go thanks to her own Geass of Future Sight, to kill him not long after he prevents the Ragnarok Connection. Clearing her path to the throne and setting herself as a great tyrant that the Black Knights cannot accept and so choose to align with Schneizel, even with his FLEIJA warheads, in the hopes of beating her.

    The world is staring down a future where, one way or another, a tyrant will rule them all. To prevent that, they need a miracle. They need Zero.

    Good thing Lelouch has a knack for overcoming the odds against him.

    Code Geass is one of the best anime of all time in my opinion, and one of the very first I've watched. This masterpiece prompted me to rethink a lot in life and taught me a lot. But nonetheless, despite the great plot, characters, music and overall brilliance, it is full of blunders and stupidity. And in general, everything in the plot is literally kept on strings and coincidences. Not that they would be very striking, but if they were not there, the anime would be perfect. I decided to present all of that in this article. Some liberties were taken in the process of translation, and I apologize in advance if I still have some mistakes. I express my gratitude to DXFan619 and geek freak17 whose critical reviews of Code Geass motivated me to make my own one. SPOILERS AHEAD
