Summary
Ranmaru and Masaki had been a couple for four long years.
Young lovers, the two chose each other and tied the knot like reckless souls much sooner than expected, but they were bound by true love and the passion they felt for one another.

He works at the Cosmic Blaster, a coffee shop in Minato where the smell of coffee mingles with a calm, comfortable atmosphere. There he spends his days with Hikaru, his colleague and only friend. Ranmaru, on the other hand, is a whirlwind of gentle energy. A medical student, he lives between notes, sleepless nights, and parties thrown by his friends. He loves order, well-made plans, and days that flow according to a precise pattern. He hates anyone who disrupts them. He will become a regular at the Cosmic Blaster, perhaps for the atmosphere or perhaps for that golden-eyed barista. Something will compel him to return almost every day, as a refresher course in his routine.
Between coffees, light-hearted jokes, and shared silences, Ranmaru and Masaki begin to get to know each other. Words become confidences, gestures become more attentive, and glances become longer.
But when feelings begin to become clearer, something changes.

They both faced the Assistant Researcher with a glare, before returning to their argument, although in the background Dr. Matsukaze’s anger keeps rising.

There was something soft about the man’s expression, and maybe it was helped by the gentle and patient tone he was using, but it was hard to determine exactly what was soft in a face that barely ever shifted besides in color “I’m sure you’ll make it work somehow”
