Summary
Working retail at a sex toy boutique wasn’t exactly IV’s dream job, but it had its perks – namely, III. Charming, feline, and always too close for comfort. The only problem? They were roommates – which, as the historians know, is basically a guarantee that nothing can ever happen between them.

Summary
Vessel swallows uncomfortably, nervousness and unease sinking in, as he sets down his shopping bags beside the doorway and walks quietly to II's side.
“Stay here,” II commands, but IV and III won't allow that. And for the first time since Vessel's relationship with the drummer began, he won't be listening to him either. II's immediate look of disapproval stings. Vessel never has taken pleasure in disappointing him, but II nods sternly, giving in, as IV and III lower their bags in tandem with the drummer.
Silently, they enter the living room.
Firewood sits piled high beside the roaring hearth. Wave after wave of searing heat washes over them the further that they slink into the otherwise empty room. Fear creeps its way up Vessel's spine, his hair standing on end, as he slowly turns his head, following II's ever observant gaze.
In the nearby hallway, the once locked door now sits wide open.

Dark red leather, checkerboard laces pulled tight enough to bite, little metal charm clinking away on the left pull tag whenever III moved. He wore them onstage like they were an extension of himself — the stomp that matched the beat, the swagger that carried him across the floor. The kind of boots that made his mouth dry just watching.

IV was a near-perfect student.
He participated in class, usually did his homework, and got along great with his fellow classmates. Not to mention his grades, which were excellent, almost enough to disregard his tendency to focus on his friends sometimes, over his classwork.
However, other than that, he was practically the ideal student. His teachers liked him and he was well-known in the school. And even despite getting straight A’s, other students and staff members often found IV going to some of his teachers at lunch to learn more.

Vessel grinned as he looked down at IV. “Well, I did mean it, but now I’m thinking there’s something even better in store for us tonight.”
IV huffed out a laugh. “And what exactly does that mean?”
“We –“ Vessel started, cutting himself off when a long groan filtered through the wall to II and III’s room. His smirk widened as he glanced at the opposite wall, then back to IV. “We’ve been offered a chance to join our boys in their fun tonight.”
Vessel reflects on life, gets sappy with IV, and proceeds to take him to pieces the best way he knows how. IV has a revelation, lets the others guide him through unmeasurable pleasure, and wants nothing more than to be good for them. II takes what he wants, pushes him limits, and the others just try to keep up.

IV’s eyes snapped open and he looked up incredulously. “I – Sleep told you that?”
III raised an eyebrow and tried not to look too smug about it. “At the end of the ritual at the altar, Sleep spoke to me. He told me I should reward you for how well you’ve been doing lately and how much he appreciated you, but he also told me I might want to take advantage of this little tidbit.”
Stage antics lead to Sleep spilling secrets. Sleep tasks III with showing IV how much he's appreciated. III and IV don't know how to not tease each other during sex.
