Summary
Ilaana and Solas are in love.
With Adamant behind them and Corypheus routed for now, for the first time they are free to explore their developing relationship, in the waking world and in the Fade. But the closer they get, the more certain Ilaana is that there is something her lover is keeping from her--something she desperately wants him to tell her.
He carries a grief so deep a stone dropped in it would be an age before it sent back the sound of it hitting bottom. And he is home to knowledge so far beyond anyone else in Thedas that Ilaana begins to suspect that "I learnt it in the Fade" only goes so far.
In spite of the enormity of her worry for the man she loves, though, Ilaana knows one thing: she knows Solas. Whoever he is and wherever he came from, she knows her lover.
The question is, will it be enough?

Summary
He notes the sharp cut of Solas’ jaw, the soft curve of his mouth. But it’s his eyes that make Carwyn pause. They hold an agelessness to them, a gleaming spark of something.
“The Herald of Andraste, a blessed hero to save us all,” Solas says at last, voice masked with false praise. Carwyn narrows his eyes.
So that’s how it’s going to be.
