Summary
An alternate universe of the Cruel Prince where Madoc had never found the girls, murdered their parents, and stole them away to Faerie. Here, Jude’s parents are still very much alive and well, and had told their girls so many fantastical fairytales over the years. And at seventeen, the summer before her senior year, Jude still has not given up on her dreams of being a knight. She might logically know knights are no longer a thing in the real world, but when she discovers that all those stories her parents used to tell actually happened, her childhood dream suddenly becomes a possibility.
After sneaking into Faerieland, Jude tricks a young prince to be under her command. Using him, she hopes to finally become a knight. However, like all things with the fae, things do not go according to plan and Jude finds herself participating in a series of quests that will determine who will become the next ruler of Elfhame.

Summary
A slow-burn rewrite starting at Chapter 21 of TWK (Taryn and Locke's wedding) and the events that follow.
Jude doesn't command Cardan and Madoc doesn't find out. Instead, Jude and Cardan end up as "reluctant" wedding dates. Flirting and pining ensue.“None of the guards have caught my eye. Am I allowed to substitute a guard with an accomplished swordswoman and spy?” He is teasing me and I am lacking in both sleep and patience.
“I’m being serious, Cardan. Do not go to bed alone tonight.”
He tilts his head and raises his eyebrows, “Is that…” but I interrupt before he can finish the thought.
“Think of it as a sincere and urgent request." -

Summary
When a wall of fog burst through the doors of the palace, Cardan lifted his head, intrigued. He couldn’t remember the last time he had been intrigued.
Through the fog a hunched shadow appeared, slowly revealing a woman who must have been one hundred years old. And she looked it, Cardan thought, a sneer fixing itself on his face.
She was carrying in her arms a glass dome. Inside was a floating, perfectly preserved rose, more stunning than even the ones in the royal garden. It had a faint glowing quality, and the glass itself was etched in winding gold vines, encasing the rose in its glory.
“An offering, my king.”

Summary
"He sat up slowly to face Jude Duarte. Jude Duarte, Madoc’s favorite daughter and apparently his new partner counselor. She looked exactly like she had at the last school he got kicked out of. Cold. Disdainful. And unfortunately, still hot."
Cardan's latest stunt gets him carted off to Madoc's summertime boot camp, in the hopes that he'll finally learn some responsibility. With his luck, of course his partner counselor is his stupid sexy nemesis.
Alternatively: lots of angry flirting and reluctant pining, courtesy of Jurdan.

Summary
At his maze party, Locke decides that baiting Cardan will add an amusing twist to the cruel game he has been playing with the twins. What begins as a simple provocation soon spirals, forcing Jude, ever so furious, to question her alliances and drawing her closer to the enemy she despises most: the youngest prince of Elfhame.
Canon Divergence beginning after Chapter 16 of TCP.
“This game has grown insufferably dull,” Cardan says, sending the bottle into a furious spin. Just as it begins to slow, he stills it with a fingertip, its neck aimed at me like the point of a dagger. “You’re here to entertain your betters, aren’t you? And so far, you’ve been a dreadful disappointment.”
The promise I've made to myself surges back, burning like salt ground into an open wound: Whatever dare they throw at me, I will make sure it’s them who choke.

Summary
Of course I want to be like them. They’re beautiful as blades forged in some divine fire. They will live forever.
And Chuuya is even more beautiful than the rest. I hate him more than all the others. I hate him so much that sometimes when I look at him, I can hardly breathe.
Osamu Dazai is a mortal living in a world of faeries. Where he realises that to survive they need to be as cunning and deceitful as the fey themselves. But the stairway to power is filled with shadows and betrayal. And looming over all is the arrogant and charismatic Prince Chuuya.

Summary
This story follows Jude and Taryn Duarte as they navigate through Faerieland during their youth. Over a collection of short tales, some narrated by Jude and others by Taryn, we get to see glimpses of their lives, and how certain experiences in their childhood molded them into the starkly different teens we see in the Folk of the Air series. There are ten chapters, each meant to represent a different year that they spent in Faerie (ages 7-16). I hope you enjoy!

A Modern Folk of the Air AU
Jude hated Cardan from the moment they met, and the feeling was clearly mutual. But then he failed to show up at the start of the semester, and she assumed she'd never need to think of him again. Everything seemed to being going her way — if you ignore the fact that she got dumped, is no longer speaking to her twin sister, and has had to pick up twice as many shifts at work because she lost one of her roommates.
Then, one day, out of nowhere, he returns.Same silver tongue. Same stupid smirk.

Summary
She was meant to pick his bride - not become her.
Jude has spent years building her reputation in a world that treats mortals like dirt beneath its golden shoes. As a strategist, as a tactician, as the daughter of Madoc, she thought she could control this ceremony, bend it to her purpose, and choose a queen who would keep the fae courts fragile and divided.
But High King Cardan, ever unpredictable, upends it all when he names her as his queen in front of the entire realm. Trapped in a crown of thorns and silks, Jude must survive the court that wants her gone, a king she doesn’t trust, and a game she can no longer control.
She was supposed to sabotage this marriage from the outside. Now she has no choice but to survive it from the inside.
