Summary
Telemachus, the young prince of Ithaca, has never quite fit in.
As if being surrounded by obnoxious, inhumane suitors wasn’t enough to isolate him, he was never treated as a legitimate prince because he was transgender. Most of Ithaca just saw him as a girl playing pretend.
Fortunately for him, he found refuge in something other than having friends; the ocean. He has always loved the water, even from a young age. When he was down, when things became rough, the waves that crashed onto the shores of Ithaca were his happy place. But he’s strictly forbidden from ever entering the seas by his worried mother, who believes that the waters are too unpredictable and hold far too many unseen dangers for her son to handle.
But as time passes and he grows older, he can’t help but wonder what lies beyond the island he’s always known. He knows there’s more to life than getting into fights with impatient suitors, or aimlessly wandering the lands he’d grown almost *too* used to. Maybe there was a better place out there, one where he’d be heard and taken seriously.
His only concern was this; would he be able to defy his caring mother’s will, and finally experience the wonders of the ocean for himself?

Summary
Control isn’t a thing you let go of easily once you have it. It’s hard to gain it, it’s harder to keep it.
Telemachus has his own life, now that the suitors are six feet under. Despite their death, their presence and actions still wander in Telemachus’ very life and mind. He wants to control it. He needs something to create, to want, to control. As he figures out a way to control his anger and frustration, a very dear Someone comes over to Ithaca, as they finally can see each other again.

“Hello, Mother,” Telemachus calls out to her.
He’s glad to see some of the exhaustion weighing down on her evaporate from her shoulders as he moves to stand next to her on the balcony. As Telemachus rests his elbows on the ledge and gazes down unto the city below, he hopes his presence could bring his mother at least some degree of comfort.
He wants her to know she's not alone in this.
And he'll show her in all the little ways that matter.
Telemachus watches the little specks of Ithacans bustle about in the marketplace. He watches the women run about— many performing what would normally be the men’s duties.
“Telemachus.” He jolts out of his train of thought as his mother places a hand on his arm. “You are making that face again. The one that screams, 'I need to talk to you.'” She clicks her tongue.
“What? I make no such face,” but even as he says this, he feels his voice strain to keep its neutrality, and he knows it’s a hopeless cause. “…Ah. Am I really that obvious?”
His mother laughs.

It took everything in the prince not to startle even while the dog’s breath made his body want to shiver and remove himself away from the suitor’s reach. But that would only spur Antinous on more and amuse him. Telemachus refused to be a plaything.
“There is good in studying legends.”
“Oh? You think it good training when encountering a”— he finally looked away from the prince to read the text on the scroll— “siren?” He chuckled and patted harshly on Telemachus’s shoulder.

Summary
Telemachus was ecstatic when his father returned, at least after they got some very stressful but cathartic slaughter out of the way. He finally got to meet his father. And at first, it was everything that he could have ever wanted.
But it wasn’t long before Telemachus, his mother, and Odysseus all realized that they didn’t know perfectly how to function as a family.
And Telemachus certainly wasn’t ready to have a man wanting to be so close to his mother in the palace again.Series

Summary
Telemachus can’t remember his father’s face anymore.

While Penelope clings onto her memories of Odysseus with every breath, Telemachus trains with the very suitors who plague their home.
