Summary
"Sometimes, the greatest strength is in allowing someone else to hold you when the weight becomes too much."
Orym gave a dry, wry smile.
"I'm pretty small. Not sure I have that much weight for anyone to carry."
Essek's gaze stayed soft but steady.
"Even a pebble can cause a landslide when placed properly. Weight like that isn't measured in size, but in impact."

The mission is far from over. Predathos still stirs, Laudna is still hurting, and Orym has no time to fall apart - not when the world might fall with him. But when the weight of Zephrah and Otahan and everything after finally cracks open in an alley in Zadash, it's not one of his friends who finds him.
It's Essek Thelyss, who knows a thing or two about carrying a weight that doesn’t fit inside you.
Later, Dorian comes. And Orym learns something he already knew, but needed to hear:

Summary
Fearne has never been to a public school, so Orym agrees to tag along and keep an eye on her as she starts college. Ashton and Milo are both just doing their best to stay out of jail. Imogen and Laudna are new roommates waiting for the other to make the first move. Dr. Grass is a therapist specializing in trauma recovery who doesn't know how face their own issues, and Chetney is a grumpy old man running a maker's space very badly.
Maybe having an LGBTQ+ gathering will help the workshop's visibility. At the very least, it will make Thursday nights more fun!

Summary
Orym sits awake, the sending stone gripped tightly in his left hand once again, a thousand messages in his head, none on his lips. He sits awake, his last message in his ears, “Glad you're not here. Wish you were anyway”, again and again and again, until he smells cherry blossoms and buries his head in his knees.

Summary
If he told them, things would change. He wouldn’t be the Orym he was before, the kind stranger they’d met in Emon and traveled with across Tal’Dorei. He’d be Orym the Widower again, followed by pitying looks and sympathetic platitudes.
But… They were on a ship back to Zephrah. They’d find out sooner or later.
He took a deep breath.

Summary
Orym shakes his head. “I believe that Fearne thinks we’re safe. But she’s…not clear-sighted about this place. About Morrigan.”
( This is Fearne’s home, and Orym loves Fearne, and Fearne didn’t really make those awful transfigured horrors in the garden. Fearne wouldn’t actually think of siding with the people who took everything from Orym, and nor would Imogen or Laudna or Letters. Orym’s almost certain. He’s sure. Mostly.)

In which the first half of ep 46 was a lot for Orym (threats everywhere! None of which he can fight! Now let's all play devil's advocate on whether the shadow assassins might be right about everything...), and Ashton is his rock (I apologise for nothing, or at least not for puns).

Summary
What's going through Orym's head during the airship fight, during his fall, and through the aftermath?
The party gets in a fight on the Silver Sun with two skirath hunters, and Orym ends up getting knocked overboard. His party manages a miraculous save, but he's still fairly shaken. The next morning, Ashton checks in with him.(Character study during canon events, plus a missing scene because I think Ashton and Orym should talk about their shared experiences)
