First story in the Behind the Lockers follow-up series, Travel Tales, and work No. 400 on my AO3 Page.
The Duskgloom Sea was overrun by a fierce storm being caused by Black Pearl Cookie (from Cookie Run) and the ancient Black Pearl Scepter, once known as the White Pearl Scepter before a tragedy unfolded with the artifact. When Queen Coral (from Wings of Fire) of the SeaWing dragons and Crimson Coral Cookie (also from Cookie Run) fall into a depression after being unable to stop Black Pearl Cookie, they seek out help from Clare Hutchinson, Jonathan Arlidge, and Tatiana Daymond, all of whom were now high schoolers in Riverton and apart of a travel group known as the Travel Trio.
After an unlikely transport to the Duskgloom Sea on an unknown ship, and coming across the SeaWing Turtle, Clare, Jonathan, and Tatiana must face the Duskgloom dangers and break the Black Pearl Scepter's curse.

(So I saw a video (won't be linking it cause the person who posted it is homophobic 😶), and I thought: 'Huh. Someone should make a fic about this.' So I did it myself!)
(Anyways, the P.O.V for this book is Flame.)
Flame had spent years in the mountains with the other dragonets, and sometimes he wonders what it would be like outside of the mountain... Though, he dismisses that thought, thinking that life here was perfect anyway.
Though, a mysterious dragon makes Flame think otherwise...
