Summary
Set a month after Alduin’s defeat. Aurora unwillingly leaves High Hrothgar, urged by Arngeir to search for new meaning to her life and a way to cope with an unwanted piece of baggage that reared its ugly maw on the fateful day that Alduin returned to the world. That should not be too hard for the Dovahkiin. The problem: There are not many who would want to help her if they knew exactly what her incurable problem was…

No canon knowledge needed, other than the awareness that Wendy is (or will be) a werewolf hunter, and Carson is a shifter.
(Technically, no canon knowledge is possible; that's what the Invisible Ficathon was all about.)
Wonderful display of tensions and missing scene details that makes me want to buy the box DVD set and marathon all of canon. Which, sadly, is not going to happen, for fairly obvious reasons. Exactly the kind of fic that can drag me into a new fandom, just because I want the rest of the context that will make it all so much more meaningful.
