However, he was then picked up as junk by an omega.

Basically while rewatching Chernobyl immediately after rewatching Nirvana in Fire I was bitten by a brain worm (beetle?) that is forcing me to write a cold war/Sino-Soviet Split AU where all my favorite characters help defeat the authoritarian communists AND the capitalists. This fic has a very niche intended audience of other terminally online leftist NIF fans, but you don't strictly speaking need to know any of the historical references to enjoy the story :)
