Behind the counter was absolute prison. Morning to evening shift, 6AM - 7PM. Reason? Poverty speedrun, and I happen to be winning. The amount of windows in the restaurant should be unholy at this point, and the sun decides to be extra-bright even if I have been woken up enough. Easily recognizable place. Brick walls, wooden doors. Just so I didn't get called out, I paced around the restaurant to make it look like I was doing something. Lulu—one of my co-workers—stayed in the kitchen on her phone.
