“You’re a vampire?” Eventually Ivan’s shaking voice escaped his quivering lips. Till’s mind raced.
“What were you trying to do by cutting your hand?” Till was baffled by Ivan’s confusion. If he wasn’t trying to out Till as a vampire by cutting himself like that, what had his intention been?
“I just thought you had a thing for blood,” Ivan blurted, shaking his head in disbelief. “I always saw you lick the blood off your fists after fights, and once I saw you lick someone’s bloody nose when you thought you were alone with them, and I just thought,” Ivan babbled urgently, before coming to the obvious conclusion. Well, obvious for someone once they know such things are even real. “You’re a vampire.”
