Summary
“That’s it!” Tighnari’s triumphant shout roused Kaveh from his stupor, a book clutched to his chest.
The moment it was laid before Kaveh, his eyes were already scanning the page, and he could feel his stomach tighten sickeningly and his his head grow light. His gaze snapped to the pictures first, illustrations of hearts twisted in a garish bouquet of vines, lungs crushed under petals and stamens. The words. “Suffocation”, “surgery”, “death” all jumped out to him. He could feel his heart start to pick up, and the thought that he might pass out came to mind.“I knew I recognized it. There was a case of it, a student, when we were still studying. Of course it’s rare. The first diagnostic criteria is to have a Dendro Vision…”
As Tighnari trailed off, Cyno picked up. “And the second is to be either completely oblivious or entirely insecure.”
Kaveh heard the tiny grunt of Cyno being elbowed in the ribs, but didn’t bother to look up. His eyes were fixed solely on the words under “likely cause”: “suspicion of unrequited love”
Yeah. He was going to pass out.

Kaveh starts to get sick, and the cure is to be loved by someone he suspects doesn’t know the meaning of the word.

Summary
Kaveh’s and Alhaitham’s friendship has been stagnant for a while but everything changes as Kaveh finds a mysterious artefact that sends him into a world vastly different to his own. Not only that, he replaces the Kaveh of this world who is in an established relationship with Alhaitham and lives together with him. How will he be able to handle this confusing revelation and find his way back to his own world? And more importantly, if the other Kaveh is with his Alhaitham now, what would happen – he didn’t mean to trouble him more than already!

When the door opened, albeit having expected to see Alhaitham staring down at him, he still felt a part of him tug him away from the place. But, he stood there, swallowing his pride as the rain poured mercilessly over him.
Alhaitham didn’t say anything. He merely looked up at the rain and then back at Kaveh.
“I didn’t know where else to go,” Kaveh said.

There was a child on the divan.
She didn’t look particularly old, perhaps five or six, with startlingly white and silver hair tipped with green. Her eyes were intensely green and though she seemed surprised to see Kaveh, her smile was sweet. “Hello,” she said. “Are you Kaveh?”
“Um,” Kaveh said eloquently. “Yes?”
Kaveh comes back from a trip into the desert for inspiration and finds out that Alhaitham's daughter will be staying with them for an undetermined amount of time.
He's perfectly normal about this.
