The gun pressed to the back of Carlos’ head.
And the masked man holding it.
TK’s shoulders go up around his ears as his whole body reacts to the shock of it. “What–”
Before he can make any rational response, there’s a cloth over his mouth. A cloth that stinks of chemicals. The hand that presses it over his face is strong and merciless, smothering him. The fumes hit his vision in an instant and he slumps into his chair, the blue fabric over his eyes dissolving into a shimmering mass that reminds him spitefully of the Spanish sea they won’t be getting to see.---
TK and Carlos are held hostage on the way to their honeymoon by a mysterious man who wants information he will get at any cost to Carlos--and which TK can't provide.

This didn’t mean that the bad days were gone, but now he felt capable in taking care of himself. But happiness never lasts. Well, that’s Buck’s experience anyways.

Fifteen minutes.
Fifteen minutes from the moment that man stepped out of the elevators to the point that he disappeared from view, taking Buck with him. Four minutes to get to Buck’s door, seven for a struggle and to subdue him, four to exit.
That was all it took.
