So, i've had this horribly angsty and painful idea churning around in my brain for months now. And I finally felt like I could put it into a fic. So here it is.
I'll say ahead of time that I do have an idea for a follow up. One that makes it hurt less. I'm still working out the details, but as painful as the ending is, it will get better.

I've had this idea for a fic for a while, but was unhappy with every attempt at it, so it sat in my docs for a while. Until last week when I finally finished "The Broken Princess" and was still in my writing haze.
So I just sort of slapped this one together, and thought it was better than my previous attempts. So here it is!
