    “Welcome back,” Luis whispered, knowing Leon wouldn’t be replying any time soon. He didn’t care that he was the only one talking, because he knew Leon didn’t mind listening to him. After the first time Leon had returned this shaken from a job, Luis had been out of his depth. It was a learning process for the both of them, since Leon never had anyone waiting at home for him whenever he came back in this state. One thing he was initially sure of, however, was that he found Luis’s voice soothing.

    Leon returns from a mission exhausted, injured, and unable to speak, but Luis doesn't mind taking care of him. After all, he'd do anything for the man he loves.
