Beomgyu hadn't actually thought the board would agree; he hadn't expected thoughtful nods and logistics at his suggestion. He'd been stunned when Yeonjun himself had said, "That's a great idea! MOA has been wanting a subunit with us since Gotta Go, and they really reacted well to our part in the Beautiful Strangers choreo. Good thinking, Beomgyu-yah."

Soobin has had his life meticulously planned from the time he was in the sixth grade. Make good grades; go to the best state college; work his ass off; go to a top 14 law school; excel.
He lined everything up to go perfectly, he knew the kind of people who went to law school, knew that he could shove his head into books and continue to over perform. He's well on his way to hitting every goal on his list with ease.
He never planned for Choi Yeonjun.

Summary
"You wanna say that again, hyung?” Beomgyu urges on lowly, eyes furrowing. He’s more pissed than he lets on, grabbing a fistful of Yeonjun's hair on the side, leaving Yeonjun’s scent gland so openly vulnerable right now. Yeonjun gasps out, shaking his head as Beomgyu sinks his teeth into his neck. Yeonjun tries to twist away from his bite, but Beomgyu sinks his teeth further into his skin, his jaws hooked onto his meal like a hungry bear, before finally letting out, hips snapping into him.
Yeonjun fucks around enough to find out what it takes to make Beomgyu angry.

“Indulge in me a little more, hyung?” He whines, gripping Yeonjun’s waist tighter, but Yeonjun tries to wiggle out of his hold, pushing his chest back with a red face. Even someone who looks to be untouchable on the surface as his hyung can get flustered like this, and it’s only with his scent. A beta’s scent no less.
Beomgyu watches him with mild amusement and satisfaction. He tries testing his luck again, pushing his face forward into their space with wide eyes.
“Please, hyung?” He asks sweetly, whispering close to his lips. Beomgyu presses forward into him with his chest. He can feel his heartbeat against Yeonjun’s chest. “Please ?”

Yeonjun sighs heavily, folding another sweater and frowning at his best friend. “Boyfriends are so stupid. I wish I didn’t want one so bad.”
Beomgyu shrugs, looking unbothered by the older boy’s romantic woes. “Well, this is the perfect time to find someone, Junnie. Love is in the air! You just need to find someone to snuggle up with this holiday season. That’s the Christmas spirit!”
Yeonjun huffs out a cynical laugh. “Yeah, I’ll be sure to ask Santa Claus for a boyfriend this year, Gyu.”
“Hyung! Didn’t you hear?” Beomgyu asks, practically vibrating with excitement, “Santa’s Village just officially opened next to the food court! You could totally ask Santa for a boyfriend!”
Maybe he should go over there and ask Santa for a boyfriend this year. Why not? He might give whatever old man pretending to be Santa a heart attack, but Yeonjun is willing to take that risk. This might be exactly what Yeonjun needs to get back into the holiday spirit.

Yeonjun at the top of the academic rankings, Soobin just below, glaring at the list like it personally betrayed him. For everyone else, it’s predictable. For Yeonjun? It’s thrilling. Addictive. The tension between them is practically its own language now: sharp words, lingering glances, victories that taste way better when Soobin’s watching. So when Yeonjun leans in with his usual smile and teases him, he expects irritation.
“Looks like someone’s second… again,” He says.
What he gets instead is Soobin turning to him slowly, eyes glinting, lips curling into something dark and amused. He leans in, close enough for Yeonjun to stop breathing, fists clenching in anticipation.
“Funny,” Soobin murmurs, voice low and smooth, “because outside university rankings it’s always you under me.”

“I’m a model, I need to be complimented at all times,” Yeonjun played along but his expression told Soobin he really wanted to get those praises from him.
“You’re cute,” Soobin started and lifted his free hand to use his index finger to softly tilt Yeonjun’s head up to peer at him better. Yeonjun’s breath hitched and Soobin’s eyes dropped to his parted plump lips for a second, “and gorgeous. You have a charm that’s hard to find, because you’re fatally sexy but adorable at the same time.”

Soobin realized he had his mouth slightly open, so he quickly shut it and turned to his friend again, attempting to pretend there was nothing happening with him, “Soobin-ah, you know you can tell me anything, right? I understand you, you know that.”
“Hyung, this is different,” Soobin shook his head, finally giving up.
“Because I’m not in love with one of my members?” Seungkwan asked, this time the look in his eyes wasn’t that of amusement, but instead, he took a motherly look that made Soobin feel safe, like he could tell him anything.
“I wouldn’t go that far,” he mumbled, too embarrassed to admit that was exactly the case.
“Alright, then, you like him a normal amount,” Seungkwan nodded, “enough that you want to kiss him for the rest of your life, let’s say.”
Soobin looked away as he blushed furiously, and his friend giggled when he saw his expression, making Soobin crack a tiny smile despite his embarrassment. “Yeah,” he finally admitted.
